AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative Announced

Spike Chunsoft’s detective adventure AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative will make its way to PC and consoles in spring of next year.

The events of the game kick off six years ago, when mysterious circumstances led to the discovery of the right half of a corpse. However, the left half went missing for six years, when it was later discovered with no signs of decay. Enter newly-appointed Special Agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba, who are both tasked with solving the Half Body serial killings.

Leading up to tonight’s unveiling were nine different puzzles that players needed to solve to assemble the password “NIRVANA INITIATIVE.” This unlocked an ominous skull that had a countdown timer in its eye sockets, which was sliced in half at zero to show off the announcement trailer.
