Ubisoft have just unveiled the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla end of the year 2024 roadmap preview which includes new title updates, river raids and free expansion discovery tour.

Ubisoft have shared on Twitter that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla still has a number of updates coming to the game over the next few months. They have even teased more additions that will be coming to the game beyond the end of the year 2024 roadmap.

The roadmap gives release dates for upcoming updates:

• Title Update 1.3.1 – September 7th
• River Raids Map Pack #2 – September 7th
• Title Update 1.3.2 – Fall 2024
• Discovery Tour: Viking Age (Free Expansion) – Fall 2024

Previously Ubisoft revealed they would add a second year of content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla including a discovery tour but hadn’t revealed when this content would be arriving.

The Viking Age Discovery Tour will be added in a free update to the game. It isn’t the first tour to be added to the Assassin’s Creed series, it also came to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which provides combat-free exploration. Players can explore the world, create and pursue role-playing missions.

Recently Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gained 60fps support on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia and Amazon’s Luna services.
