Battlefield 2042 is launching in a little over two months, and DICE’s online shooter has looked quite promising so far. Ahead of its launch, players are, of course, going to get the chance to go hands on with it as well through an open beta- but what exactly is that going to happen.
Well, it might be right around the corner. As spotted by @PlayStationSize and @Okami13_ on Twitter, files for the era access of Battlefield 2042’s beta have appeared on both the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. EA has previously confirmed that there will be a beta for the game in the lead-up to its launch, but there’s been no official word on when exactly it’ll be launching. With early access files appearing on console stores though, it seems likely that the beta might be beginning soon.
Battlefield 2042 launches October 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
