Bloodborne fans have been begging Sony to remaster the beloved FromSoftware Soulslike title ever since the release of the PS5, often stating how good a next-gen update for the game would look and run. Unfortunately, there has been no word of this coming anytime soon.
As such, one dedicated player decided to take things into their own hands, creating a mod that completely overhauls the graphics and visuals of the game. You can see the results of Garden of Eyes’ efforts in the video down below.
In the video, Garden of Eyes shows a comparison of the original game versus what their mod looks like running on a PS4 Pro with the 60fps patch applied. This mod uses modded lighting, special effects, graphical options like motion blur, depth of field, screen-space reflections, and much more.
The mod is definitely impressive, as it adds a lot to the atmosphere of the game, giving Bloodborne fans an idea of what a remaster or even sequel could look like using next-gen graphics and support. Anyone interested in supporting Garden of Eyes work can head over to their Patreon, linked here.
What do you think of the mod? Is it just what the game needs? Or does it not fit? Be sure to let us know in the comments section below.
