Never wound what you can’t kill
Horror icon Tony Todd will gargle with gravel for his new role as Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on the PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games confirmed that the Candyman is joining the cast of its 2024 sequel on the PlayStation Blog, adding that Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter will reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Miles Morales respectively.
“We’ve been fortunate to work with so many incredibly talented actors in our Spider-Man games, and Tony has been such a wonderful addition to the cast,” wrote Ryan Schneider. The project will be headed up by much of the team from the original Marvel’s Spider-Man, with creative director Bryan Intihar and game director Ryan Smith both back on board.
In safe hands, then.
