It’s hard to believe but the iconic Mega Man series is fast approaching it’s 35th anniversary next year. The company clearly has plans to celebrate this special event as Capcom Japan is currently recruiting licensing partners for Mega Man’s 35th anniversary. Mega Man fansite Rockman Corner says that the same thing happened back in 2016 for Mega Man X’s 25th anniversary and also 2024 for Mega Man Battle Network’s 20th (those plans were delayed indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic).
