Collect Ice Pops for Exclusive Gear in Knockout City’s Limited Time Heatwave Event

The nature of our work here on Push Square means we need to be looking forwards most of the time, but there are definitely games we like to return to here and there. One of those is Knockout City, the excellent dodge-brawler multiplayer title from Velan Studios. As with many online-focused experiences these days, it’s a game that’s constantly changing with seasonal updates, new playlists, and more. The latest of these is Heatwave, a limited time event running for the next couple of weeks.

As mentioned in this tweet, Heatwave introduces Ice Pops throughout each map, for a grand total of 100. As you play matches and find these cool collectibles, you’ll earn yourself Heatwave Tickets, which can then be exchanged for event-exclusive items in the shop. Of course, there are also Heatwave-specific Contracts to complete, which reward you with lots of these Tickets for finding all the Ice Pops in each stage.

Having taken it for a quick spin, it’s a simple but jolly event with nice, summery vibes.
