Recompile has looked like a really solid game ever since we first saw it over a year ago. Announced for PlayStation 5 last July, it’s now finally available from today, 19th August. Check out the launch trailer above.
For those who don’t know, it’s a 3D metroidvania action game in which you play a semi-sapient computer virus hacking into a sinister mainframe. The digital world you’ll explore slowly opens up as you gain new abilities, and you can hack into enemies and environments to gain an advantage in combat and solve puzzles. Additionally, there’s a soundtrack that reacts to what’s happening, and your actions will have an effect on the game’s ending too.
It looks quite promising, doesn’t it? Will you be hacking into Recompile on PS5? Tell us in the comments section below.
