Following the absurdly high budget cinematic trailer debuted earlier in the year, Giants Software is back with a fresh look at its PlayStation 5 and PS4 simulation sequel. Farming Simulator 22 will include three maps, including the previously announced American and Alpine locations, but here’s its third: Haut-Beyleron in France. This is the perfect backdrop for its new grape crops, as you grow vineyards, olives, and sorghum against the backdrop of castles and chateaus.
As part of Gamescom 2024, the German developer has also revealed the details of the title’s first Season Pass, which will expand upon the already enormous game through Fall 2024. There’ll be four period packs during that time, including new vehicles and eventually a fresh map. More details will be revealed in due time, and don’t worry if you’re against the idea of paying: the studio will also be adding free content as well.
We were treated to a demo of the title earlier this week, and we’ll be posting up some impressions later today. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer above.
