FIFA 22 will finally allow you to create your own football club in Career mode, according to a press release shared by EA Sports. While the correspondence is light on details, it teases an “all-new Create a Club experience”. Presumably, this will enable you to design the kit and logo of your squad, and develop your team as you work up the football pyramid. More details are due throughout the summer, apparently.
EA Sports’ latest soccer sim will also feature “reimagined gameplay” in street football mode Volta, while Ultimate Team will introduce new cards named Heroes.
According to the website, these items will “represent the stories and glory of cult players and fan favourites”, with Mario Gomes, Tim Cahill, and Robbie Keane among the first batch of players announced. “FUT Heroes have unique league-specific chemistry which is tied to their specific hero moment, providing a green Club link to any player within the same league as well as the usual nation link, giving you new ways to build your dream squad and recreate some of football’s most famous moments.”
