Gear Club Unlimited has been a success for Microids on the Nintendo Switch as the company has revealed that the series has shifted over one million sales on the platform. The series is nearly unrivalled on the Switch in the arcade racer section, so it is well done to Microids for creating an impressive port of the mobile title. Stéphane Longeard, CEO of Microids, said that the sales on the platform reinforces the value of the brand going forward, so expect more Gear Club titles in the future to appear on the system.
“The great results of the Gear.Club Unlimited franchise illustrates the strength of the brand and allows Microids to be confident in the future of the franchise. This new record consolidates our editorial strategy revolving around four pillars: Adventure, racing, retro and strong IPs.”
