Ghost of Tsushima is a story and a game that spans an entire island. It’s your journey with Jin Sakai as he evolves from a samurai into a sneaky murder machine to liberate his home.
A lot of the mechanics are similar to other open-world games, but the sheer number of things to do — and how inviting the island is to explore — are staggering. Polygon’s Ghost of Tsushima guides are here to be your own Guiding Wind through them all.
We have a beginner’s guide with some tips to set you along your path, as well as a guide for making Jin even stealthier. For combat, we explain Jin’s four different stances and how to use them, and we can help you win every standoff.
The titular island of Tsushima is packed with places to visit and things to find — and we’ll explain what they all are and what they do for you. To make sure you don’t miss a single upgrade, we’re making maps for every prefecture on the island.
As Jin’s Legend grows — and we can help you with that, too — he’ll find weapons, abilities, and armor straight out of Tsushima’s history. We have walkthroughs to help you through each of those Mythic Tales, starting with the Heavenly Strike.
