Greedfall Gold Edition: PS5 & Xbox Series X

The popular action role playing game, Greedfall, will be receiving a brand new Gold Edition as well as a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X upgrade for existing owners.

Greedfall: Gold Edition will be available on June 30th, and is set to feature a brand new expansion titled “The De Vespe Conspiracy”, plus more. The Gold Edition will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Windows.

Greedfall

Originally released for previous generation consoles in 2019, Greedfall is an action role-playing game developed by Spiders and published by Focus Home Interactive.

The RPG is set in an early 17th century styled fantasy setting, and allows players to explore a remote paradise island. Fight off supernatural beings using a mix of combat and stealth, whilst also making important decisions that influence and affect the game’s storyline.

Greedfall is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but will receive a Gold Edition on June 30th with new content as well as a free next-gen upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners.

Next-Gen Upgrade

Existing owners of Greedfall will receive a free upgrade for next-gen on June 30th. The upgrade will feature 4K Resolution support, improved visuals, faster loading times, and 60FPS in performance mode.

For those that don’t already own Greedfall, a brand new Gold Edition will release on June 30th for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The new edition will feature new content in-game, and additional bonuses in the physical edition.

The Gold Edition of Greedfall will feature UHD Native 4K, fast loading, and improved performance on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Greedfall: Gold Edition – Release Date & Expected Time

Greedfall: Gold Edition will release on June 30th, the same day as the next-gen upgrade for existing owners. No official release time has been given from the Gold Edition or next-gen upgrade.

However, for those picking up the Gold Edition of Greedfall on Xbox or PlayStation, expect the title to go live at midnight in your region on June 30th.

The official Xbox Support Page states, “You can play the game as soon as it’s released in your region, usually shortly after 12:00 AM local time on the release date.”

Whilst PlayStation titles often release at midnight in your local region too.

For those picking up the Gold Edition on PC, many games on Steam are often released at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST.
