Though it’s been out for two months by now, Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive has received a new trailer highlighting its accolades. The fighting game released on PS4, PS5 and PC to a strong amount of critical acclaim for its presentation, visual style and overall changes to the core mechanics. From launch till July 16th, digital sales and worldwide shipments for the title have crossed 500,000 copies. The first DLC character, the Secretary of Absolute Defense Goldlewis Dickinson, has also been added as part of the first Season Pass. Another DLC character, this time from previous titles, is expected to release this month.
An additional three characters along with two new stages will release this Fall, thus rounding out the overall Season Pass. One can also expect new story content with the “Another Story” DLC and free updates like the Combo Maker, a Digital Figure Mode for making dioramas with character models and so on.
