Square Enix debuted the opening movie for the Legend of Mana remaster during its Summer Showcase. The cinematic shows hand-drawn art of characters and locations in the game, along with gameplay snippets. The title will launch on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and PC via Steam on June 24, 2024.
The opening movie is a blend of nostalgic and dire music from the Mana series. The video showed the game’s characters in a blend of hand-drawn and 3D art, like Niccolo, Elazul, and Daena. Square Enix also provided screenshots of the remaster to compare it with the original back in May 2024.
The Legend of Mana remaster will release on June 24, 2024. Both the PS4 and PC versions include early purchase bonuses. Buyers on PS4 will get a home theme and new avatars, while PC users will get a wallpaper.
