Netflix announced Monster Hunter: Legend of the Guild will be coming to the service on August 12, 2024. The animated special is based on an original story. Also, to go along with the release date reveal, the streaming service provided a trailer to introduce its lead character, premise, and art.
It’s been quite some time since Netflix mentioned anything about this presentation. It was announced back in July 2018. At the time, it had a tentative 2019 release window. Since then, Netflix and Pure Imagination, the studio behind it, didn’t offer many updates.
Here is the new Monster Hunter: Legend of the Guild Netflix trailer. Aiden is a young man living in his peaceful village. We see some peaceful kut-ku nearby. While out hunting a Velociprey, he runs into a Velocidrome. A hunter named Julius helps him, then warns that an Elder Dragon is headed toward the village. He joins with other hunters to face Lunastra and save the villages in its path.
In the past, Pure Imagination Studio worked on interactive rides likeMonkey King: Journey to the West and Justice League: Battle for Metropolis. It also worked on animated commercials or spots for things like Lego Batman.
Monster Hunter: Legend of the Guild will appear on Netflix on August 12, 2024.
