Earlier this year, developer Night School Studio and publisher MVM Interactive announced Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals, a sequel to the beloved mystery adventure title, and confirmed that it would be releasing for the Nintendo Switch and PC. Of course, fans of the original were wondering whether the developers also had plan for other platform releases. It turns out they do.
It’s been announced that when it launches, Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals will also release for PS5 and PS4. In a PlayStation blog post, lead writer and Night School Studio co-founder Adam Hines says that’s thanks to “popular demand”. Oxenfree 2 is promising more supernatural mysteries, more of the first game’s robust dialogue choices, and plenty of bizarre stuff going on with rifts and radio signals. Check out its brief PlayStation announce trailer below.
There’s currently no specific release date confirmed for Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals, but at the time of announcement, it was given a vague 2024 launch window.
