Another Evangelion promotional crossover is on the way, and this one also involves the imagery surrounding its famous liquid. Lotte announced that it will have a new variety of its Coolish line of ice cream drinks inspired by Evangelion LCL fluid. The frozen snack will be available starting on July 20, 2024 in Japan.
Here’s the official tweet announcing the Evangelion Coolish LCL Ice drinks. All eight package designs are shown off. In the top row, there’s a version with text and bags with Shin, Red, and Asuka on them. The second row shows that Kaoru, Mari, Gendo, and Misato. All of their appearances are based on their looks in the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. It also noted that it will taste link a “sports drink.”

In the Evangelion series, LCL is used in the Eva Entry Plugs so pilots like Shinji, Asuka, Rei, and Mari can pilot them. Depending on whether someone watches the show or movie, it is either orange or red.
The Lotte Coolish Evangelion LCL drink will launch in Japan on July 20, 2024. All of the Rebuild of Evangelion movies are out in Japan. Evangelion 3.0+1.0 will launch on Amazon Prime Video on August 13, 2024.
