Nekopara Chocola and Vanilla Chinese Dress Figures Will Debut in 2024

People will have to wait a while for Good Smile Company’s next Nekopara Chocola and Vanilla figures. The company revealed the release windows for the Chinese Dress Ver. figures of both catgirls. They will show up in Japan in September 2024 and in North America in November 2024.

Both of these new Chocola and Vanilla figures are inspired by designs from Sayori, who is the artist for the Nekopara series. There’s even a special site comparing the art, prototype figures, and finished products. Chocola is wearing a pink dress, with flowers in her hair and a matching pink fan and shoes. (Pink is her signature color for her normal uniform.) Meanwhile, Vanilla’s matching dress is blue, with blue and white accessories. (Again, matching her signature tones.) Each character comes with a “screen” with a cat on it that can be displayed with the figure.

Sayori also made the following statement about these two figures.

The original illustrations were actually created for the purchase of merchandise, rather than figures. I received this kind of “gorgeous Chinese outfit” theme, so I toned down the amount of bare skin showing when designing the outfits, but being a request from Good Smile Company, I focused on creating a pose and details that could easily be brought into figure form, with an outfit design that really makes you want to see more. After hearing that they wanted to create figures based on the illustrations, I designed the backs of the outfits as well. Since you can’t see their legs from the back, I decided to incorporate a revealing back design.

These aren’t the first figures of Chocola and Vanilla in outfits inspired by Chinese designs. Alphamax also a pair.

The Nekopara Chocola and Vanilla Chinese Dress Ver. figures will launch in Japan in September 2024 and North America in November 2024. Pre-orders are open until August 25, 2024.
