New Hatsune Miku If Nendoroid Imagines Her Without Twintails

There’s a new Hatsune Miku Nendoroid on the way, and she’s from a prominent artist to coincide with a special occasion. A Hatsune Miku Chronicle art exhibit is being held in Japan. Between July 22-29, 2024, the Hatsune Miku if exhibit is active, with Ken “KEI” Garou creating a new official image for her “if” she didn’t have twintails and Good Smile Company made a Nendoroid inspired by it. The figure will first be sold July 22, 2024 through August 22, 2024 at the exhibit, with online orders opening worldwide on August 23, 2024.

KEI is responsible for the original Hatsune Miku design and the theme for the new piece of art and this Nendoroid is, as noted by Good Smile Company, “What if a design without twintails was chosen for the original Hatsune Miku design?” Instead, this version of her has a ponytail with black ribbon and an entirely different “uniform.” She comes with a microphone to hold and a reimagined copy of the Vocaloid software with this version of her on the box. She also has three face plates. One is of her smiling, another is of her singing, and the final one has her pouting with puffed-out cheeks.

Here’s KEI’s official design for Hatsune Miku Chronicle.

And here are some pictures of the new Nendoroid.

In other Hatsune Miku figure news, the My Little Pony one of her is still on the way.

The Hatsune Miku if Nendoroid will be available for ¥5,500 at Hatsune Miku Chronicle in Japan until August 22, 2024. Good Smile Company Online Shop orders will be open August 23, 2024 through September 23, 2024.
