Nintendo TOKYO Pop Up Stores Are Coming to Major Cities Across Japan

Nintendo has announced that the official Nintendo TOKYO store will be coming to multiple cities across Japan in the form of pop up shops. All pop-up stores will be located in PARCO department stores, and will only be available during summer 2024. Each store will sell official Nintendo goods, including some that were previously only available at its main store in Shibuya, Tokyo. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The Nintendo TOKYO pop-up stores will appear at PARCO Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Hokkaido. The opening and closing dates for each pop-up store will vary, with the Nagoya location opening the earliest, and the Sapporo location opening the latest. Those who wish to visit the stores have to reserve a slot online beforehand. The Nagoya and Fukuoka locations have already opened reservations.

Additionally, Nintendo stated that new, unannounced products would also be sold at the pop-up stores. As with the official store in Shibuya, each pop-up store will sell original Nintendo goods from franchises such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and Splatoon. Nintendo TOKYO recently added a new line of Yoshi-inspired water guns. It also sold The Legend of Zelda Korok-themed merchandise, which sold out in online stores just hours after opening.

• Fukuoka PARCO, Fukuoka Prefecture: June 25, 2024 – July 25, 2024
• Sendai PARCO, Miyagi Prefecture: July 31, 2024 – August 15, 2024
• Hiroshima PARCO, Hiroshima Prefecture: August 14, 2024 – September 5, 2024
• Sapporo PARCO, Hokkaido Prefecture: August 21, 2024 – September 5, 2024
