Today’s Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon digest focuses on a creature from Japanese mythology and a familiar face for those who have played previous Atlus works–Yamata no Orochi. This large serpentine demon is, unsurprisingly, from the Snake race in this game. As a prominent character from Japanese mythos, Yamata no Orochi inspired various monsters and characters in other franchises as well.
In the video, Yamata no Orochi melts away a Jack Frost with a Salamander Strike, as well as two other Jack Frosts with Titanomachia. When Yamata no Orochi isn’t bullying Jack Frost in this Shin Megami Tensei V video, he’s begging for his life from the protagonist before he joins the party. In general, The video then ends with a teaser for tomorrow’s demon, which appears to be Neko Shogun based off of the silhouette.
