Retro Lovecraftian FPS Forgive Me Father Announced for PC

Polish developer Byte Barrel and Russian publisher 1C Entertainment has announced that their spooky throwback FPS, Forgive Me Father, will be coming to PC on October 28, 2024 via Steam Early Access.

Forgive Me Father boasts an eye-catching comic book aesthetic and is inspired by the novels of the iconic sci-fi, fantasy and horror author H.P. Lovecraft. Furthermore, the game takes gameplay and aesthetic cues from classic early-1990s’ first-person shooter titles like DOOM, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D.

As you can see, the game’s eye-poppingly unique art-style is very striking and its retro nostalgic FPS gameplay looks like it could be a fun time, right? All in all, fans of Lovecraft may want to check this one out.
