The Riders Republic closed beta is live, and has already seen its fair share of leaks. But if you’re curious about the game’s character creation and customization, Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the same. Check it out below.
From the outset, players can choose two body types for their avatar. You can modify their skin tone, face, eyes, hair, hair color, facial hair and whatnot (with the option to go back and change things if you’re not satisfied). Next up is your rider’s fashion – there are a variety of different clothing items and gear to unlock, including full outfits. Outfits can be mixed and matched with all other clothing to create a unique look.
One important thing to note is that the “vast majority” of these customization items are available from “just playing the game.” Some avenues for obtaining outfits include riding for a sponsor and completing objectives to rank up for rewards; completing weekly challenges; and Bucks, the in-game currency which can be used to purchase outfits from the in-game shop. New outfit collections will be added to the shop on a regular basis.
Riders Republic releases on October 28th and will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
