Apple has apparently acquired the rights to produce animated shows based on the Crash Bandicoot franchise and Spyro the Dragon for their streaming service, Apple TV+. Activison Blizzard own both franchises and both series have had their original games remastered with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Spyro previously appeared on Netflix’s award-winning Skylanders Academy. The new show, based on Spyro the Dragon, is titled Spyro the Dragon’s Guide to Treasure Hunting. The Crash Bandicoot show for Apple TV+ is called The Adventures of Crash Bandicoot. Both are supposed to debut on Apple TV+ next year.
