Samurai Warriors 5 will receive a playable PlayStation 4 demo next week, on the 20th July (that’s seven days from its actual release). The demo will include two stages from main character Nobunaga Oda’s storyline, and you’ll be able to try out five different fighters: Nobunaga, Hideyoshi Hashiba, Nō, Ieyasu Tokugawa, and Toshiie Maeda.
All of these characters wield different weapons, so they should give you a decent idea of how combat works across the game. What’s more, your save data from the demo can be carried over to the full release, which is always nice.
We’ve actually been playing Samurai Warriors 5 for a couple of weeks now, thanks to the Japanese version of the game — and we’ve really enjoyed our time with it. You can read all about it in our Samurai Warriors 5 hands on preview.
Will you be charging into battle with this demo? Keep your blade sharp in the comments section below.
