See Samurai Shodown Shiro Tokisada Amakusa Gameplay Footage

SNK’s gradually been releasing new Samurai Shodown characters. There has been a mix of returning cast members and crossover characters so far. The latest to make his debut was Shiro Tokisada Amakusa, and the new Samurai Shodown gameplay footage shows him holding his own in a fight against Charlotte.

Here’s the full fight between Amakusa and Charlotte. Given the goal of this video is to show him off, you can probably guess who wins this Samurai Shodown round.

This is actually the second video showing gameplay footage of Amakusa fighting in Samurai Shodown. Back when the DLC character debuted, SNK shared a launch trailer for him. It was a compilation of cut together footage that showed highlights of his moveset, though. That meant you saw the “best” shots of him, rather than a full look at how he’d handle in a fight.

Amakusa is the third DLC character in Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3. The previous two additions were Cham Cham, Tam Tam’s little sister, and The Last Blade’s Hibiki Takane. There is still one more character left to be revealed. Their identity remains a secret, however.

Samurai Shodown is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC via Epic Games Store and Steam, and Google Stadia.
