Summer Barbara and Jean Genshin Impact Items Arrive in September

People will be able to get physical reminders of the Midsummer Island Adventure event in Genshin Impact, as Summer Barbara and Jean merchandise is on the way. In September 2024, Genshin Impact acrylic stands, pins, and gel mats featuring both characters will appear. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

Most of the items only focus on the siblings from Mondstadt. For example, the acrylic stands, gel mats, and pins will each only have one character on them. Jean wears her Sea Breeze Dandelion skin in hers, while Barbara is in the Summertime Sparkle outfit in her items. Here’s a closer look at all of them. The gel mat is about 14 inches by 14 inches, while the acrylic stands are over five inches tall. The pins are about two inches.

There is one item available with a larger scope. The three main characters in Midsummer Island Adventure were Barbara, Jean, and Klee. The rubber mat features all of heroines. It is about 15 inches wide and over 27 inches long.

At the moment, one of the few official partner shops selling these Genshin Impact Summer Barbara and Summer Jean items is Ami-Ami. The acrylic stand pre-order price is ¥1,430 (~$13.07) each, the gel mats are ¥1,650 (~$15.08) each, and the pins cost ¥500 (~$4.57) each. The rubber mat is ¥2,420 (~$22.12). All of the items at that store are provisional pre-orders, as Ami Ami noted it might not get enough to meet demand.

As a reminder, while the event is over and you can no longer earn the Summer Barbara skin for free, both it and the Jean outfit are available in the Genshin Impact Character Outfit Shop. You can only purchase them with Genesis Crystals, a sort of currency bought with actual money. Each alternative skin costs 1,680 Genesis Crystals.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development. The Summer Barbara and Jean acrylic stands, gel mats, and pins are expected to ship in September 2024.
