Developer Dual Effect has confirmed its survival horror title Tormented Souls will launch on 27th August 2024, digitally on the PlayStation Store and also on disc with a physical version. The former will cost £16.99/$19.99, and boxed copies ship at a later date alongside a PS4 version. The last-gen edition had been previously cancelled, but it’s now a thing once more. To get you in the mood for this new survival horror experience, a demo is available on the PS Store now.
The first 40 minutes of the game are up for sampling, and UK and EU users can trigger a free download through here while US readers should use this link. “Something Evil Lurks at Winterlake – While investigating the disappearance of twin girls at Winterlake – something terrible happens to Caroline Walker. Waking in the dead of night, naked in a bathtub and hooked up to some decrepit medical equipment, Caroline must fight for her life as she explores the halls of an abandoned Mansion.”
