Annapurna Interactive had a busy day today. Earlier today, the team held the 2024 Annapurna Interactive Showcase, where they had shared a bunch of announcements and updates on games that had been previously revealed. One of the announcements was the “first and only” expansion coming to Outer Wilds, which is being called “Echoes of the Eye”. PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 28th.
As for the Nintendo Switch, a port of the base game had been previously announced for a release “this summer”. Unfortunately, that is no longer going to be the case. Mobius creative director Alex Beachum confirmed during the Annapurna Interactive Showcase that it has been delayed to this holiday season.
