Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 suffered a DDoS attack in similar vein to original Titanfall, quickly following suit after the Apex Legends “Save Titanfall” hack. Fans have reported ping spikes reaching unplayable levels, however the situation seems to be resolved now- on Xbox, at least.
The hack has reportedly affected Xbox and PC players, and its suspected that a hacker by the name jeanue is behind it all. Many fans are understandably furious at Respawn for not having network infrastructure that can combat DDoS attacks such as this one.
The story continues to develop, with Respawn developers believing that fixes won’t be issued just because of hacks, as the team had the issue already recognized beforehand and was working actively to resolve it. However, it’s also been reported that only 1-2 developers have been assigned the responsibility, which has seemingly added fuel to the fire. Hopefully the situation will be resolved smoothly not long from now.
STATUS REPORT :// reports indicate that pc and xbox are officially completely ddosed and unplayable.
