One of the biggest reveals from Square Enix’s E3 showcase was Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which releases October 26 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
You can pre-order the single-player, story-driven game from select retailers using the links below, and also check out what’s included in the digital and physical deluxe cosmic editions.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy pre-order bonuses
With no multiplayer, microtransactions or DLC, Square Enix and Montreal are focussing on their efforts on a rich single-player story in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. You’ll play as Star-Lord, but with a focus on choice-based elements, your interactions with other characters in the game will shape how your story unfolds.
All pre-orders include an early unlock code for the Throwback Guardians Outfit Pack, which instantly unlocks an iconic outfit for each of the five guardians. That’s the Team-Lord outfit for Star-Lord, Black Votex for Gamora, Thanos Imperative for Drax, The Stinger for Rocket, and the Impaler outfit for Groot.

Best Buy is currently the best place to pre-order the game in the US, and all pre-orders include a $10 voucher. Pre-orders for last-gen versions of the game include a free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Deluxe pre-order (US)
More bang for your buck. The cosmic deluxe digital edition includes early unlock digital codes for Star Lord’s Sun-Lord, City-Lord and Social Lord-outfits, as well as digital download codes for the game’s soundtrack and mini artbook.
It’s worth noting there are some slight differences between the physical and digital versions of the cosmic deluxe edition. The cosmic deluxe physical edition also includes a SteelBook case and a physical version of the artbook rather than a digital code. The soundtrack is still digital-only, though.

Will there be a collector’s edition of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy?
Square Enix is yet to announce any other editions of the game outside of the standard and deluxe cosmic editions, but we wouldn’t rule out exclusive collector’s editions of the game from select retailers yet.
It’s likely that are more pre-orders get announced, more retailers will announce pre-order bonuses that are exclusive to them (such as GAME’s special SteelBook in the UK with standard editions of the game), so we’ll keep this page updated.
