Yen Press To Publish English Goblin Slayer Tabletop RPG in Early 2024

Manga and graphic novel publisher Yen Press has announced that it is publishing an English version of the Goblin Slayer Tabletop RPG released in Japan back in 2019. Originally only available in Japanese, the English-translated TRPG will release in February 2024. There is currently no confirmed price.

While details are still scarce, the English version of the TRPG looks to be using the exact same cover as the Japanese version. Yen Press also notes that it’s not sure whether it will include the extras from the original Japanese version, stating that “it’s very rare for [the company] to include pack-in stuff” like metallic figures.

The original Goblin Slayer Tabletop RPG includes eight different classes and five races to choose from. It also has a host of spells and abilities based on the Goblin Slayer series. Enemies include classic monsters such as Ogres, Goblins, and Giant Rats, as well as Nightwalkers and Blobs.

Yen Press has not announced an official price. The standard Japanese paperback version costs ¥1100 (about $10) on Amazon Japan. Additionally, there are also supplemental books as well as a special limited edition listed on the TRPG’s official website. Notably, the supplemental books in particular add new races, spells, illustrations, and monster variations to the game. Yen Press has not confirmed whether it will release these products in English.
