Wings of Ruin – Kulve Taroth, Dreadking Rathalos, and More Coming Post-Launch

In a new pre-launch program for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Capcom revealed some new co-op gameplay and the launch trailer. The latter is especially worth checking out since it features monsters like Nergigante and Velkana in action. But more importantly, it highlights some of the other new content coming post-launch.

July 15th sees the addition of a new Monstie – the Palamute from Monster Hunter Rise. On August 5th, Kulve Taroth will be available as a co-op exclusive monster while Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos are added as new Monsties. In early September, Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth and Oroshi Kirin will be available while Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex are added later in the month (along with Kulve Taroth’s quest on High difficulty).

Another co-op quest exclusive monster will be added in October but is currently a mystery (and at High difficulty). New Monsties like Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian are coming so they should help even the odds. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is out on July 9th for Nintendo Switch and PC.
