Almost six years after it was announced at The Game Awards 2015, Double Fine Productions’ Psychonauts 2 is almost out. Players will finally be reunited with Raz as he travels to Psychonauts HQ and attempts to unravel strange occurrences while learning new skills. Check out the launch trailer below, which feature a snazzy Bond-esque spy theme.
Some of the new abilities that Raz can use include Projection, which creates a companion that can solve puzzles or help in combat; the Time Bubble for slowing down time; and Mental Connection for linking thoughts to platform across levels. There are new mindscapes to explore, new enemies and plenty of familiar friends to meet.
For more details on Psychonauts 2, check out our official review here. It’s out tomorrow for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PC along with launching day one on Xbox Game Pass. Loading times are the best, unsurprisingly, on Xbox Series X/S which also supports 4K/60 FPS and 1440p/120 FPS.
