Ubisoft has confirmed that the next big patch for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch next week, on the 27th July (Tuesday). This update has been expected since it was spotted on Sony’s servers just a few days ago, but it’s still nice to have official confirmation.
So what’s going to be included in this patch? Well, the developer has already teased one handed swords as a new weapon type, one of which will supposedly be made available with the game’s next title update, which, we assume, is this newly announced patch.
Ubisoft hasn’t made the inclusion of one handed swords official just yet, but it has confirmed that a new level scaling option will be added in this update. Level scaling lets you increase the difficulty of Valhalla’s combat by beefing up your opponents to varying degrees. It’ll offer five settings: Default, Off, Constant, Harder, and Nightmarish. Sounds like it’ll be a welcome addition for those who crave a deadlier challenge.
We imagine that Ubisoft will share more details in the very near future, with patch notes probably dropping just before or alongside the update itself.
