The Pokemon Company International is celebrating Bidoof Day on July 1, 2024. As part of that, it did things like add events to games and release wallpapers. It also put together a Bidoof Day video for its Pokemon YouTube channel that is a parody of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
Here’s the full music video for the Bidoof Day take on “Never Gonna Give You Up” for this Pokemon event. It samples footage from the games and anime adaptations. Original animations of Bidoofs dancing also appear throughout it.
As part of Bidoof Day, games like Pokemon GO honored the character. Between June 25, 2024 and July 1, 2024, special events appeared there. People could catch the character with moves it didn’t normally learn. Shiny Bidoofs showed up. You could also get themed stickers from Poke Stops and Catch XP bonuses.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Online is also offering Bidoof-themed items. You can get virtual card sleeves, coin, and deck box until July 7, 2024.
The Pokemon Company International declared July 1st is Bidoof Day. People who log into Pokemon GO on mobile devices or Pokemon Trading Card Game Online on PCs or mobile devices can take part. It is unknown if Bidoof will appear at Japan’s Pokemon Wonder attraction.
