Square Enix has announced a new Bravely Default game. Bravely Default Brilliant Lights is an entirely new experience that will release on mobile devices. Additionally, Square Enix released a trailer demonstrating various features in the game. This also includes a short story synopsis as well. [Thanks, Gamer!]
Bravely Default Brilliant Lights will feature turn-based combat and a gacha system. Viewers can see these functions demonstrated in the announcement trailer. Additionally, characters from previous Bravely Default games will appear in this title. Keiichi Ajiro, the writer for the original Bravely Default, will work on the scenario for the upcoming game.

This new title was announced as a part of the 10th anniversary of the Bravely series. Square Enix also shared that the Bravely Default series has now shipped over 3 million units worldwide. This combines both digital and physical sales.
Additionally, Square Enix has revealed that a closed beta for the game will appear soon. This will be exclusive to Android users. More information regarding the schedule of the closed beta will appear through the official Twitter account for the mobile title. A release date has yet to be announced.
Bravely Default Brilliant Lights is currently in development for Android and iOS devices.
