Gamescom: Opening Night Live: How to watch and when

Gamescom: Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, will give video game fans a look at Far Cry 6, Call of Duty Vanguard, and much more during a two-hour broadcast starting at 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday. Catch all of the announcements and reveals right here.

Opening Night Live is being livestreamed via YouTube (above) and Twitch, beginning with a 30-minute pre-show starting at 1:30 p.m. EDT. In the past week, Keighley has teased that the show will deliver news on almost 40 different games, including a reboot of Volition’s Saints Row franchise.

Other games getting a look include Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and a “brand new football title” — meaning soccer, which might be Konami’s renamed eFootball, which is due a launch date sometime this fall.

Gamescom’s formal opening day is Wednesday, with events both online and at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Microsoft on Tuesday also held a pre-show gala with announcements featuring Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, big plans for Xbox Game Pass, and plenty of trebuchets.
