Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2, a follow-up to 2019’s Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, has been announced for Nintendo Switch and other platforms.
A direct sequel to that first game, Luminous Avenger iX 2 sees the return of Copen and Lola for more high-speed action. Copen, who can seamlessly switch between his power-focused “Break-Shift” form and the speed-enhanced “Bullit-Shift” form, has been treated to brand new weapon called the Razor Wheel, allowing him to rip through “any enemy standing in his way”.
Our first glimpse at gameplay footage has arrived in the new trailer up above, so make sure to give that a watch.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX released back in September 2019, and Luminous Avenger iX 2 is its direct sequel! This new game takes the original speedy and stylish 2D action gameplay to the next level as Copen rips through enemies with his new “Break-Shift” form. His new destructive capabilities makes the high-speed action more satisfying than ever! Experience a new apeX of cutting-edge 2D action with Luminous Avenger iX 2!
It’ll be launching on the Switch eShop on 27th January 2024, priced at $24.99. Switch is also getting a physical version, although details on that are yet to be announced.
