Here’s the Inazuma Raiden Shogun Voice Actress in Genshin Impact

MiHoYo revealed the voice actress for the Raiden Shogun, whose name is Baal, in the Genshin Impact Inazuma region. It turns out it is a rather famous performer. Miyuki Sawashiro will play the role in the game. The English voice actress hasn’t officially been confirmed yet, though you can hear her in the version 2.0 Inazuma trailer.

Sawashiro is known for playing the lead role in many anime series and video games. Some of her more notable parts include Sword Art Online’s Sinon, Lupin the Third’s Fujiko, Persona 3’s Elizabeth, Granblue Fantasy’s Katalina, SoulCalibur’s Ivy, Fire Emblem Fates’ Camilla, FFXV’s Aranea, Street Fighter’s Cammy, Durarara’s Celty, Tales of Xillia’s Millia, and often JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s Jolyne.

Here’s the official tweet going over the voice actress Baal, the Inazuma Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact. As an interesting aside, Sawashiro also plays Raiden Mei, another electric character, in MiHoYo’s Honkai Impact 3rd.

As for the Raiden Shogun, Baal is conducting a Vision Hunt in Inazuma when the Traveler reaches the region in the version 2.0 update. She’s pursing “eternity” and is gathering them for people for an unknown purpose.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Inazuma 2.0 update will arrive July 21, 2024. It will eventually come to the Nintendo Switch.
