Bandai revealed Kamen Rider-themed wireless earbuds produced in collaboration with the Japanese audiovisual brand Aviot. The earbuds can interact with a mobile app that plays the Transformation sound effects from the Heisei-era Kamen Rider titles.
Users will be able to download a mobile app titled Henshin Voice Changer. They can then choose one of the twenty Heisei-era Riders, from Kamen Rider Kuuga to Kamen Rider Zi-O.
The earbuds will play the corresponding sound effect the moment they are connected to the device. Users can play the sound once again by long-pressing the logo button on the right earbud.
Bandai has opened pre-orders for the Kamen Rider wireless earbuds on September 3, 2024. It will close the pre-order period on September 12, 2024, or when enough orders have been placed. The company will deliver the finished products in December 2024. The P-Bandai store page indicated that Bandai might also sell the earbuds outside Japan.
These wireless earbuds are part of Bandai’s “Henshin by Kamen Rider” brand. The company had also previously released shirts and shoes inspired by the franchise’s superheroes in February 2024.
The franchise’s latest console game to date is Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez, available immediately on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Bandai will also release the Kamen Rider Vital Bracelet in late 2024.
