New branch will be fully remote, follows creation of publishing arm earlier this year
Virtual reality publisher and developer NDreams has announced the formation of a second development studio.
Called NDreams Studio Orbital, the new branch will be led by studio head Chris White and will operate entirely remotely.
White previously worked at VR/AR fitness company FitXR, prior to which he held senior development roles at EA, Glu and Space Ape Games.
No details have been given on its debut title yet, but the company says Orbital will focus on live ops titles for virtual reality.
Best known for VR titles such as Phantom: Covert Ops, NDreams became a third-party publisher for virtual reality games earlier this year.
We spoke to the team about the ambition for this new venture, including its $2 million development fund.
