One big title which was notably absent from Nintendo’s E3 presentation was the immensely popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch. While we heard about the Expansion Pass plans for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, some users on social media wondered why no new Animal Crossing: New Horizons content was mentioned during the 40 minute show. Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser speaking to the Verge said that the company still has plans for future content for Animal Crossing New Horizons, so fans shouldn’t be worried or disheartened. Doug said that when they are ready to share them they will.
“While we didn’t talk about it [during the E3 Nintendo Direct], we absolutely have plans going forward to ensure the 33 million people who have islands out there have new and fun activities to engage with,” Bowser says. “Look for more to come.”
