NSO Adds Jelly Boy Worldwide and Shin Megami Tensei If in Japan

Nintendo revealed new Super NES titles, including Shin Megami Tensei: if…, will appear in the Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) service from July 28, 2024. There are different games depending on your region. For example, Shin Megami Tensei: if… from Atlus will only appear in Japan, whereas Bombuzal/Kablooey will be available worldwide.

The list of games that will appear via the Japanese NSO service includes Shin Megami Tensei: if…, Dead Dance, and Bombuzal. (Dead Dance appeared on the SNES outside Japan as Tuff E Nuff.)

The list of games that will appear in North America and Europe’s NSO is Claymates, Jelly Boy and Kablooey.

It should be noted that Kablooey and Bombuzal are the same game. When the North American Super NES version came out, it released under the title Kablooey. These titles will join other classic games, such as Ghosts’n Goblins and Donkey Kong, that are available from the Nintendo Switch Online service. As for Jelly Boy, it originally only appeared in Europe.

Though Shin Megami Tensei: if… will not appear in North America’s or Europe’s NSO library, the latest addition to the Shin Megami Tensei series will appear worldwide on November 12, 2024. Atlus has been revealing demons that will appear in Shin Megami Tensei V daily. So far, demons like Slime, Onmoraki, and Cu Chulainn have been revealed.

The Super NES titles will be available to download from the Nintendo Switch Online store from July 28, 2024.
