We rather like the look of Recompile, an indie game heading to PlayStation 5 very soon indeed. In this latest video, though, we get a closer look at how combat will play out in the game’s Tron-like digital world, and it looks pretty mad.
In the trailer, we’re introduced to some enemies, and then the hero starts going ham on all the blocky baddies. It looks like you’ll have access to some traditional guns, but you can also weaponise your mid-air dash, which should be a satisfying move. With multiple enemies on your tail and the game’s neon-lit presentation, it appears that players will be in for a visual spectacle with all those particles and lights flying around.
Recompile lands on PS5 on 19th August — later this week. Will you be giving it a look? Fire away in the comments section below.
