GamesBeat journalist Jeff Grubb has mentioned on his YouTube show that EA is readying itself for an announcement that is sure to please core fans. Speaking on the latest episode of Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess Mr. Grubb said “I think you’ll be happy, we’re going to see it… if we’re not dead first”. It sounds as if he could be alluding to the revival of the excellent Dead Space franchise, but who knows what the game will actually turn out to be. We did previously see a Dead Space spin-off on the Wii titled Dead Space: Extraction which was a rail shooter and prequel to first game in the Dead Space series. Mr. Grubb expects EA to announce the game next month during an EA Play Live event.
