Shin Megami Tensei V Raphael Deals Divine Retribution

Today’s daily demon digest for Shin Megami Tensei V focuses on Raphael of the Herald race. In the Bible, Raphael is one of the Four Archangels alongside Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel. As such, aside from being a good demon to use against enemies weak to light magic, Raphael can work as a healer or support. He has appeared in previous Atlus games, such as the Persona series.

The video starts with Raphael introducing himself to the Nahobino. He also uses a Mediarahan to heal up the entire party, which is fitting for his name, which means “God has healed.” When he isn’t supporting the party with healing magic, he is eliminating enemies with his powerful skills. Raphael wipes out a group of demons with a Mahazanbarion, as well as easily defeats a Manananggal with Hamabarion.
