Acclaimed Japanese video game designer SUDA51 has told IGN Japan that he would love to have the opportunity to work on a Marvel-themed video game. When asked which Marvel franchises he would like to base a video game on, SUDA51 stated both Deadpool or Shatterstar. When asked to elaborate why, he said that he would love to work on any Marvel series which would fit in with the general vibe that the distinctive Grasshopper Manufacture games are renowned for.
“But [in terms of] the kind of things I’d love to do, I’d also love to work with Marvel on a Shatterstar or Deadpool game, something sort of Grasshopper-y like that. Maybe a Quicksilver title of some sorts. So, Marvel, you know.”
