The Expendables 4 casts Megan Fox, 50 Cent, and Tony Jaa as new members

The Expendables are back, and they’re bringing some new members for their mission. Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Tony Jaa join the cast, Lionsgate announced on Monday.

The most recent movie,The Expendables 3, premiered in 2013, and since then, the series’ future has been in question. However, thanks to a partnership between Lionsgate and Millennium Media (which Fox recently worked with in Till Death), Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone are bringing the series back. They’re joined by Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, who have also appeared in all three Expendables movies.

Throughout the series, the Expendables films have been known for calling in all manner of action stars, from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger to Jet Li, Steve Austin, and at least a dozen others. The latest film in the series will be no different. While the initial announcement only includes Fox, Jackson, and Jaa, there are sure to be plenty of other action stars signing up to join Statham and Stallone’s army in the near future.

The new movie will be directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor), but it’s not entirely clear what it will be about. According to the Hollywood Reporter, which initially reported the casting news, Statham is going to be the lead this time around — instead of Stallone — while Fox will play the female lead.

The next Expendables movie, which may or may not be called The Expendables 4, does not have a release date yet.
